11. Cultural Palace Urban Design

The new workers’ Palace is aiming to become a cultural center which has diversity and richness, and also to form the cohesive icon of the city in terms of space, volume and image. In order to reflect this centripetal force, the design introduces the orderly transition of urban texture from border to center in the building volume. In the configuration of public space, a multi-level network that binds central radiation and linear streets is introduced. In terms of program layout, the transition from public to private is realized from the center to the surrounding.
